Our adventure safaris are frequent, and we always try to accommodate individual circumstances. With proper notice, we allow you to reschedule your safari. Time fences are included in the Terms and Conditions, and with the exception of the non-refundable deposit, the entire amount is refundable with proper notice.

Typically we can connect to a gateway city from anywhere in the world, and we work with each client to help with airline suggestions. If you have a specific airline you work with, let your travel planner know and they will look at those airlines first.

Group sizes vary, but a typical group size is 5. Sometimes multi-generational families all want to travel together, and we have had groups of up to 21 people in a case like that. When we have a large group, we always have multiple safari vehicles. Most tour companies put 10 in a vehicle, but we have found that taking only half that amount will add tremendous value to the experience. If you can imagine 10 people all trying to stand up and get a good look at the sighting, you will begin to understand why 5 or less people would certainly be advantageous. In addition, in South Africa, there are never more than 3 vehicles at a sighting. This contrasts with where you might see upwards of 35 vehicles with other tour companies in places like Kruger National Park, with each guide is trying to squeeze past the next. Chaos generally ensues, and it certainly does not yield itself to a proper animal encounter. And if you elect for a custom safari, and then you only have you and your traveling party in the vehicle.

Safaris vary greatly in the amount of physical exertion needed. In general terms, people that can walk a mile on flat terrain have no issues. But if you are concerned in any way, then please contact us and we would be glad to help accommodate your needs.
