A World of Wonders

Zimbabwe

Thundering waterfalls that reveal rainbow mists. Rolling highveld landscapes, brimming with adventure. The iconic Big Five. Beautiful Zimbabwe is a land of diverse and breathtaking landscapes, much of which lies atop a high plateau, forming the watershed between the mighty Zambezi and Limpopo Rivers. These rivers sustain an incredible variety of wildlife, making Zimbabwe an unparalleled destination for luxury safari tours with The Adventure Safari Network.

Zimbabwe is home to warm-hearted people and an abundance of wildlife, and it boasts one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World—Victoria Falls. This awe-inspiring site, known locally as Mosi-oa-Tunya, or “The Smoke That Thunders,” is a must-see on any journey to Zimbabwe. Best time to visit Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe is an excellent place for those who want to get off the beaten path. Whilst Victoria Falls (Mosi o a Tunya) is at its most spectacular between February and July, Zimbabwe's safari season runs from June through to October. High temperatures can be uncomfortable in October, with the rains starting around November. Thunderstorms and rain are common in the early part of the year, a fantastic time for birders.
