Join us for a workshop beginning after meeting the guide and any other participants near a set of long picnic tables at Cloud Gate (located near the east side of Millennium Park) outside the famous, shiny metallic Bean sculpture.
Working in the shadow of the Bean, your guide will first give you a 40-minute presentation to help you understand your camera and explain what all those features on your camera do, especially the ones controlling F-stops, shutter speeds, white balance and ISO. This overview also covers composition tips on howto capture your travel scenes.
Following this overview, you will go through beautiful Millennium Park to photograph some of Chicago’s finest scenery to help internalize concepts and learn about photographing people, sculptures and buildings along the way!
Throughothe safari, we will critique your photos as you take them, helping you to correct exposure, composition and white balance right on the spot so you immediately see results.
This hands-on training will show you how to use that new camera of yours or that camera you’ve had for a while that you always keep on the auto setting! It will also give you invaluable photo techniques for your future travels so come see us before you go on that big trip!
This three-hour safari meets rain or shine. Bring your camera and lenses; a tripod is not required. All skill levels and cameras are invited!
